Menlo Gate was designed to cater to the entry level real estate investor with limited investment capital. Although many investors are eager to invest in real estate, they simply do not know where to begin. Most investors do not have access to hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest in real estate and even if they did, many are concerned about “going it alone.” Menlo Gate was established to solve this problem. Menlo Gate offers entry level real estate investors an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of real estate investing with the peace of mind of knowing that their investments are being professionally placed and managed.

Menlo Gate’s structured investment model also addresses another common concern for the investor – the time commitment involved in managing rental income property. Many investors are concerned about the impact that property management will have on their busy lives. Menlo Gate personnel have managed dozens of properties on the Bay Area Mid-Peninsula for nearly tweMenlo Gate’s acquisitions are limited to long term, value-driven investments on the Mid-Peninsula, allowing investors to physically monitor their investment. For two very distinct reasons, Menlo Gate’s model is fundamentally different from other real estate investment firms that offer “shares” in Real Estate Investment Trusts (“REIT’s”) or Funds (“REIF’s”). First, Menlo Gate’s properties are local , thus giving the investor the ability to actually see and touch their investments. Second, Menlo Gate’s investments are single-offering investments with a set limit of investors per offering. As such, once a group of investors are placed for a property, no other shares or interests will be sold for that property.

Menlo Gate’s investment model is simple: Six investors constitute an “offering group.” Once an offering group is completed, a property is purchased and managed for that group for seven years. At the end of seven years, the property is sold and the profits are distributed to the group’s investors.

Cristina Madrid is a licensed real estate agent with a wealth of knowledge and experience related to the intricacies of property managment.  Cristina has actively managed over 400+ units for local investors since 2005.  Prior to making the move to property managment, Cristina acted as the Director of Customer Care for John Laing Homes, Inc., a nationwide builder.  Cristina’s perspective as a real estate agent and former Director of Customer Service helps the company understand and meet the needs of its clients.  Cristina’s contacts and expertise are instrumental to the company’s ability to professionally manage properties for its clients.
